Contact the Chamber of Commerce as they can be very helpful in giving you info on such things.

It is scarey just calling someone out of the phone book and the Chamber will only give you names of members without any comment on their abilities. I would probably either call the counseling department of an area college and ask to see if they offer recommendations and/or ask them who you might call for such a recommendation or do a search on anger management classes Philadelphia on the web and visit each of the website that come up—then call the ones that seem like a good match to see how they sound in person.
This is a hard thing without a referral from someone you know. I had a friend who had “an issue” with the law and had to find a class through a referral from the probation department of the local courts—but I would guess that would be best for very, very serious anger issues.

Please investigate before you sign up. I don’t know if you’ve ever watcher the Penn and Teller Bull$hit show on cable TV, but they did a special on Anger Management classes once, and a lot of people are out there offering classes that are full of bunk! There seem to be no standards regulating who can teach anger management, or the validity of the content. You might decide you’d rather see a private licensed therapist.
