I am 33years old and an hearing impaired i am trying my best to get ajob for the last 2 years What should i do

I am 33 years old and am a qualified to be a teacher and also done diploma in computers. I am hearing impaired and trying my best to get a decent teaching job but in vain.what should i do

Not to pigeon hole you but maybe you could teach hearing impaired students then after you have that to put on your resume you can move on to some thing else if you want. Good luck

Could it be that you need to update or fix your resume? Perhaps you don’t have very much experience in those areas so you need to “beef up” the resume a little? I would think a hearing impaired teaching job is quite specific, so maybe you will need to broaden your search and look in other states for a position so specific. Those are my recommendations. Good luck.

You might want to look into the possibility of special education to work with students that are hearing impaired. You may also want to look into becoming a software developer that works to make programs easier to use for people who are also hearing impaired.

try applying for a teaching job in a hearing impaired school. I’m not sure where you live but i know there is a school in south dakota called school for the deaf. good luck in your job search i hope you find something soon

your impairment is not a disability unless you want it to be. talk to a head hunter or job counselor and revamp your resume.
