Learning to speak a foreign language to a fluent level takes a lot of work and commitment. I recommend you find a good course. If you want to learn through self study, look at courses by Pimsleur, Rosetta Stone and FSI (Foreign Service Institute). They get good reviews. I’m doing FSI Hungarian because I want to become fluent. You can also join a language exchange site, but really it should only be considered as a supplement to a good course. There’s some good tips etc for self study in the link I’ve given. Good luck and happy learning!

You already speak it a lot better than some people I know. I suggest learning the meanings of words… like whats a verb, and an adjective and then you can learn sentence structure. Otherwise, i just suggest reading. Lots and lots of reading. When you come to a word you dont know, look it up. That’s how i think i got so good at english.

hi

the word ‘fluency’ does not mean speed. it means to what extent u can convey your ideas correctly to the listener. so try speaking a bit slow without bothering about any of your grammar mistakes and stamering( your effort to fish out the correct word)

u will get confidence and slowly u can build up the fluency u require. all the same it also depends on your needs-the need for speaking English.

remember necessity is the mother of invention
