Does anyone know anything about wearing colored rubber bands to show your level of sexual activity?

Okay, so I’m a teacher and apparently the reason students love to wear rubber bands is because they show their level of sexual activity. Does anyone know what the colors represent? I just really want to know so if any kids are answering this please know that my kids won’t get in trouble; I’ll just take them from them like I’ve been doing. I’m not mad or anything. Actually, I thought it might be funny to wear every color rubber band myself just to see the looks on their faces. Although I probably won’t actually do that. If you know, I’d be interested in knowing because I’m curious.

I got this from http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-backroom/1142544/posts:

“The kids play a game called “Snap” associated with wearing the bracelets. In the game, girls wear the bracelets around their wrists, and if a boy runs up and rips one off, he gets a “coupon” from the girl to perform whatever sex act the color stands for.

A black bracelet indicates sexual intercourse, blue is oral sex, red is a lap dance or French kiss and white is a homosexual kiss – and it gets more in depth.

Green represents having sex outside.

Some of the bracelets stand for specific sexual positions, and there’s even a light-green glow-in-the-dark version that means “using sex toys.”

But as one teacher to another, I don’t think I really want to know that much detail! I’ll forget most of it, thanks!

I’ve heard of a game played with these bands. Each colour represents something sexual – kissing, frenchkissing, oral sex etc. If someone breaks the rubber band from your arm you are supposed to do what ever act the colour of the rubber band represents. Sic but true.

Some school I know have banned these bracelets.

I think that it’s a little disturbing that you want to know specifically what each band means. Personally, the less I know the better…I pass things like this off to the counselors. I certainly would not try to “just for fun” wear them and play their little reindeer games. That could get you into a lot of trouble in the long run. You would do well to stay away from kids games (no matter how “mature” the subject matter is.) Especially if you truely are a teacher.
