Ask to do extra credit, even if there isn’t any, it’s the thought that counts. It might help. Just the fact that you did any extra credit seems to cause teachers to raise your grades, i think.

I would hope you can’t and would not want to. What if your brakes specialist persuaded someone to give him high passing grades? Or your Mom’s pharmacist? Or an airline pilot? Or a surgeon? There are consequences. You can get by but you can’t get away.

Yep, I can be “persuaded” by the “A’s” on all of your assignments (or at least a majority of them) to “give” you an A! Teachers don’t give grades, students EARN them!!!!
