The MAT has less utility for admissions but given the choice between the two, I’d send my MAT scores over my GRE scores. Math brained people may well decide the opposite.

And then there’s the GMAT – very challenging indeed.

Find out exactly what the schools you want to apply for will require of you and then take that exam. Don’t try to send them things they didn’t ask for. They will assume that if you can’t figure out what admission exam to send them, you can’t do graduate level work.

It can do you no harm to take all four exams just in case you want to have different options. GRE general and the comp sci subject, MAT, and the GMAT. If you have any desire to teach, check out the PRAXIS too.

By the way, do you mean to say ‘subject’ (subjective?) test?
