i’m ok at everything, but not the best. doctors and lawyers might be too competitive for me. so what is a good thing to major in?

Think about your best subjects in school or at least the ones that you enjoy most. Also think about what type of job you might want. Do you see yourself as a manager, working with animals, teaching, in business, or what? If you are interested in a medical career but don’t think med school is for you consider nursing or physician’s assistant. Some jobs that aren’t law but help people are social work, psychology, and public administration. But really the sky is the limit just find something you can be excited about and go for it!

Make a list of things you really like to do. There are tests that school counselors can give to you to help you get an idea of what fields are best for you. There are also some pretty good books out that could help answer your questions, ask a librarian.

take it from me. Major in whatever interests you. Don’t worry so much about the salary of that profession, what everyone else is doing, or necessarily what the job market demands. Go for what you love and what you can see yourself waking up doing every day.
