4 A’s and 4 B’s equates to roughly a 3.5GPA.

However admission to Harvard requires to take the SAT I as well as the SAT II Subject Tests.

Harvard does not have clearly defined, required minimum scores; however, the majority of students admitted to the College represent a range of scores from roughly 600 to 800 on each section of the SAT I as well as on the SAT II Subject Tests.

You must take three SAT II Subject Tests, you may choose any three subjects, using the following guidelines:

* The English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT) is not acceptable.

* Candidates whose native language is not English should not take an SAT II test in their native language as one of the three required tests.

* Candidates who took the Writing (in English) subject test when it was offered (January 2005 or earlier) are strongly encouraged to include the results in their applications.

For more information regarding admissions to Harvard see the website below.

Yale as different requirements based on which program you chose you study, for more information visit the website below and click your desired area of study.

4 B’s and 4 A’s would be a 3.5 GPA. That would probably be good enough to get into either school. They also consider your ACT/SAT scores and your extracurricular activities. Both say that most students are in the top 10% of their class. They also recommend taking advanced classes in high school, like AP classes.

Hey, there are crazier things that have happened!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want to go to Yale or Harvard, you have to believe you can do it. Give it your best damn shot! If after everything is said and done & you don’t get accepted, cross that bridge when it comes. Shoot for the stars is what I always say P.S. When you write an entrance essay for grad school, you must address EVERYTHING about your performance, and WHY it happened.

GPA is important, but SAT and community service and other activites are a factor too. Did you try to apply for early decission? It does not hurt to apply to any school, but please remember they cannot accept all studnets.

Good luck in your college search.
