What are the advantages and disadvantages of using HOTMAIL? and why??
Im refering to hotmail mail!!

Hotmail was one of the most popular forms of web email during the time where the internet was just starting. When hotmail just came out, it was very siomple to use and fast. I guess one of the advantages is that you can use the MSN instant messaging service. Also, a couple of years ago hotmail inscreased the email memory for all their users to a size that is similar to other email services such as Yahoo. The disadvantage now is that last year they changed their email software to a new update that makes it somehow slower and more confusing way to manage emails.
Personally, I prefer Gmail. I recommend it to everyone.

It’s free. Plenty of storage space. They have really cleaned up their act with the junk mail that used to get through. I like the format. Easy to access. No particular disadvantages for me, but I wouldn’t use it to send confidential information.

I am not sure if there are differences. I have MSN account for years. I love it. I do not much care for the beta version. I like my email’s to be simple just like that. I do not like the fuss with new technology.
