We have had 12 of those! LOL And it happened to me to, when I joined the military and served in Germany (at least the homesick part, to a point).

The best advice on the language is to USE IT! Stay away from English as much as possible … which means staying away from the computer (esp. chatting and Skype) and staying off the phone! Besides, you’ll make more friends out doing things than back in your room on the computer.

Which brings me to the homesickness thing. You WILL get homesick, no way around it. BUT the key is to TELL someone you’re homesick, just don’t suffer in silence. Then, get out and get busy! Go to a new museum, go walk around a new part of town, go to a different restaurant, take a train ride. But, busy is the only cure! Do NOT succumb to the temptation to call home because you’re homesick — that will make things worse!

Hello,

Nice quetion friend. Im planning to move to spain after i complete my degree and there are still more than 2 years which is think is a plenty of time and thats why i started learning the language.

It will surely take me 2 years to complete spanish language because where i live (Dubai) not a single person speaks spanish.

Its good to study in a reputed university and become whatever you want! When you leave your family only then you learn how to live by yourself which is very difficult but you get to learn a lot. A lot mean A lot…

Thanx

I did that, when i was 16 i went to a boarding school in switzerland and then attended college there. I think its a great experience, taught me to respect people who are different, not be prejudiced, be more open minded, I speak 6 languages and have friends all over the world. Its a great experience all around.

It is the best because it makes you miss and interact with new culture and tradition. You are exposed to new life and cope with nature. There are many benefits gain in it.

But their disadvantage is that you take time to cope and miss
