I would recommend that she contact several schools that interest her or offer a degree in what she wants to study, and ask them directly. She can contact them online easily. every college in the u.s. has a website (you can find some by going to google and typing in “universities and colleges” and name the state of interest). Every college website has a section for admissions and prospective students. in that section is contact information and your friend can email the school’s admissions department and find out if she meets the requirements before she even decides to apply for admission.

good academic standing, community involvement and extracirricular activities (varsity sports, or school clubs) are most important in u.s. school admissions.
