I can’t really recommend any specific Universities for you without knowing what it is that you intend to study but really it is your choice because remember, it is you who will be spending the next four years of your life there. So you have to find one that suits and meets your needs.

You can narrow the choices down in various way, by the schools academic success, if a school offers the right course or program for you or the financial costs of attending (each university as a different price on their tuition).

You could narrow them down even further if you have a location in mind, perhaps there are certain States you wish to be in or preferred climates or maybe you even wish to be close to the ocean or mountains. Then look to see which Universities are in those States.

However you decide to do it is entirely up to you. If you want an overview of Universities, Business schools, Medical schools and Law schools then http://www.princetonreview.com/home.asp is a good place to start.

There are also other links and information on the following website.

Below is a really useful website with various information regarding student loans for UK citizens wishing to study to the U.S. It also offers a whole wealth of information on other various aspects of studying in the States.

thousands of colleges in the USA> Why not go to the embassy and discuss it with an American. In addition what is your course of study and that will help you narrow down a college.
