Shakesphere/ iambic pentameter question?
I am supposed to write a 6 line poem in iambic pentameter about how wonderful shakephere was a writer. However, i have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEAS. Ive been sitting here for an hour, and ive got nowhere. PLEASE HELP. Im not asking for you to write the whole poem, but just a few helpful ideas/ starting points would be great! THANK YOU

Nicky you’re wrong lol, iambic pentameter is stressed unstressed, stessed unstressed. Pentameter means the poem must have 5 feet and then also must follow the stressed unstressed pattern. Good luck.

Iambic pentameter follows the pattern: ‘long, short short, long, short short, long, short short, etc.’ basically, I would experiment with writing possible poems and reading them out loud to yourself to check that they follow the speech pattern. Also, looking over some of Shakespeare’s works to try and emulate their style might be helpful in mastering the pentameter.
