How much money would it run me (a rough estimate) to move from the US to Italy?

It’s not an immediate or solid decision, but I’m thinking of moving to Italy to study piano after I graduate from college. I don’t start college until next year, but I’m looking for a general idea of about how much it would cost me, so I know how much I would have to save.

The website I have listed below will give you a few rough figures but without knowing any specifics like which university or city you plan to study/live in then we really can’t be of anymore help, as the cost will vary greatly depending on these two factors.

Anyway take a look at the website below, it is a starting point.

if you can leave your material posessions behind, it would be a plane ticket, and living expense there. The best was to get items back there is just to mail them to yourself, UPS or DHL is the cheapest way to get a small amount of items there. If you have ALOT of stuff to take, you need to ship them by boat, its not OUTRAGOUS, but it takes a long time (expect over a month to get your stuff) and you usually have to pick them up at port, or have them shipped from there to your residence, thats when it starts getting prices. So, if its you, luggage, and a big wallet to start over, 2000$ to get there, if you want to take a 8X8x8 box that weighs 1000 Lbs, add 1800$ or a little more
