Does anyone know anything about TESL or TEFL?
There is a program I am looking into called TESL/TEFL. That being said, I was looking into possibly teaching in Switzerland. They say the pay is 65,000 to 80,000 with a TEFL certificate ofcoruse. That being said, has anyone out there taught in Switzerland or even Germany. Do people really get that much money for teaching there or is there some sort of catch to this? IF anyone out there can let me know about this, it would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks everyone

I have taught TEFL, and frankly, that seems WAY out of the ballpark. Which is not to say that wild miracles couldn’t happen, but I have NEVER heard of such money, even in the oil-sodden and desperate-for-any-westerner Arab states.
I would be looking for the catch. Whatever you do, DO NOT send them any money, for placement or paperwork or otherwise.
Check out Dave’s ESL Cafe. Go to the job board, find Switzerland, and see what other jobs are paying. The first entry will probably be known scams for that region.
