When to take ACT test?

I took ACT test twice; first time at school in april and another one at different school in june.

My score was MUCH lower on june test compare to the one I took in April….

So I’m thinking that ACT company either raises or decreases the difficulty of the test depending on certain times.

Is this true??? If so….is taking another ACT in September sounds good?

The ACT is the same difficulty for every test date. It has to be because it is a standardized test. Maybe your score dropped because of the testing conditions or you had an off day. If you want a higher score, than yes you should retake the ACT in September.

The difficulty definitely changes between each test. The ACT people have to normalize the test scores. I don’t know if they intentionally increase or decrease difficulty at certain times. I did much better on the math portion that I thought was much harder than I did on a test where the math portion was much easier.
