it depends, how many units is each class worth. It would be different if its a 3 unit or 4 unit class, vs 1 unit class.

Twin momma as of 11/11
find how your school weights the grades (including pluses and minuses). it should be on your report card. add all the scores together and divide by the number of scores to get the average (gpa stands for grade point average). Then you can see what letter grade your average is closest to and that’s it!

If you’re in college, just multiply the grade weight by the course credit and repeat the same process. Like if you got that ‘c’ in a one credit class, and all the ‘a’s are in 3 credit classes, you have nothing to worry about., it If you got it in a special 4 credit class, and all the A’s are in once credit classes, then you’re in some trouble.

It depends on two factors: 1) the number of units/credit hours for each class, and 2) your school’s grading system.

For instance if each class was worth the same credit hours and the system mirrored my law school, then you would have the following:

4.33, 4.67, 4.67, 4.00, 2.33, and 4.00 = 4.00 (an A average)

If each class were worth the same credit hours and the system mirrored the business school, you would have the following:

4.0, 4.3, 4.3, 3.7, 2.0, and 3.7 = 3.7 (an A- average)

Here are the steps to calculate this on your own:

1: Multiply the number of units for each graded course by the grade points you earned for that course to determine the ‘total grade points earned for each class’.

2. Add together all of the ‘total grade points earned for each class’ to find your ‘total grade points’.

3. Divide the ‘total grade points’ by the total number of units earned in all of your graded courses combined.

4. This is your grade point average.
