The SAT is a standardized test used to help determine which college a student will be admitted to. In order to improve your chances of getting good results, you need to practice as much as you can. I recommend studying on your own, since my experience with paid tutoring was not great. The best books for studying are tutorfox.com’s sat guide and the princeton review’s sat guide. it stands for something like standard apptitude test. you take it before you graduate high school….. it’ s supposed to tell the college’s how smart or unsmart you are, it’s many many questions so some are hard and some are short and easy, but to study you can take a class or get a book from a book store that has lots of sample questions and tips for getting the right answers on the actual test… hope this helps
