The United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) offers graduate and post-graduate students the opportunity to undertake an internship programme with the Office. The internship programme aims to help students acquire practical experience, which complement their studies, as well as to expose individuals to the work of the United Nations. During the internship, every attempt is made to match the interest of the intern with the work of the UN. The duration of the internship programme is two months. However, interns are NOT expected to undertake the internship on a full-time basis. To qualify for the internship at UNIC, he/she must have at least completed one year of their under-graduate degree.

UNIC does not accept secondary school students.

What a dissapointing, sefl serving double standard orgainisation it is. Token gestures at the very best and way too late.

It not as if they dont have the resourses.

Though you couold’nt be any safer anywhere.

If you are motivated by money you will be happy and become a mission junkie, see the world , eat well and be warm and comfortable.

If you want to help out and actually hit the ground running and make good purposeful use of your skills you will be dissapointed.

Chelsea Clinton studied International Relations and works for them now. I think more or less any subject could be made relevant to the broad field of work this organization does, from Agriculture to Law. So, you have plenty of choices.
