So, im studying for the CHSPE tomorrow?

and im stuck with this qestion fide slope for 4x + 20y = 5

i got m= -1/5 but the book tell me its m=1/5 who has the error?

You are correct.

You can solve for y, and the slope will be the coefficient of x.

Here’s a short cut. When a linear equation is written in standard form ax + by = c, the slope is always -a/b (opposite of a/b)
