Older Adult going back to College need – ACT Exam Info.?
Has anyone ever taken the ACT Exams to get into College, I’m an older adult and I’m looking to return to school. I would like to get information on the ACT Exams and how to pass it or possiblity study groups for free maybe?

act.org is their web site and they have some material. Go to your local library and look over their collection of test prep materials. I have found that most libraries have some. Ask the librarian how to prepare. Read books on a topic that you like that with hard vocabulary (again ask a librarian for help). Get a few high school math books, and work through them, similarly try math for idiots/dummies, etc.
The best prep book will be one that you like, so if you can look over several at your library or big-box book store and see if you like using them. Since you are out of practice in taking tests, practice, practice, practice.
Your local high school may have resources and study guides, so ask the school counselor there. Do not pay for prep sessions as you can do better on your own since only you know how you study best.
