Medical College Admission Test (MCAT)?

I am a pre-med student who will take the MCAT test. However, I have no idea about how to beat it. Any study guide or books would help?

Thanks all.

In US , The Medical College Admission Test is required by all medical schools. The evaluation of grades alone is not helpful in selecting students. Thus, the MCAT is designed to help the admissions committee determine who is best suited for medical school. The American Association of Medical Colleges administers the test once in April and once in August.

The MCAT is a 5.5 hour test, consisting of 4 sections: Verbal Reasoning, Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Writing Sample.

MCAT was developed by American Association of Medical Colleges in 1928. It is the demand of all the medical schools in United States and also in Canada. It is a computer-based standardized examination to assess medical students. However, all the exam administration is computer based.

MCAT mainly assesses knowledge of scientific concepts, problem solving skills and critical thinking. The major drive behind MCAT testing is to test those skills which are necessary for the study and practice of medicine.
