You will attend community college for two years, complete your IGETC and your major requirements and transfer to an UC campus as a junior.

essentially what a JC is meant to do is to give you the opportunity to complete your general education requirements. once yu complete it and take the required transfer classes, then you may continue as a junior at a UC or CSU system. I’m actually a senior at CSULB after I transfered from a JC. for me it was the most money saving solution since they teach at the same level and still got to transfer. you do not have to start from the beginning if that is whut your concern is. Good luck!

Your grade depends on the number of credits that you have. For most people, when they are finished at the JC level after 2 years, they will go to a 4 year university where they usually start off as a Junior. However, this may change if they don’t have enough credits.
