Is 2weeks long enough time to study for GRE??
Favorite Answer
If you really want to take the test in October then you’ll have to devote a lot of time to studying probably. It can be done, especially if you are good at taking tests. But for me, it helped to have the extra study time. Can you take a later test or are you stuck on the one in two weeks time?
Either way you go, I highly recommend the GRE book from Baron. It helped a lot and I did really well on the test and I think the book was a lot of it. You can get it at most book stores I think. Also, download practice tests from the GRE site, as the practice software they send you won’t arrive until after your test (makes sense, huh?).
If you’re crunched for time, spend more time with learning the test taking tricks and things you are completely clueless about (for me it was grammar and geometry), rather than spending a lot of time on vocab and mathematical properties. Also, don’t forget to practice the writing portion.
Good luck with your test!
