Well I’m a CNA (certified nurses assistant) I’m not sure about elder care in your home, but I know that it only takes about a month to get certified. I worked at a nursing home that paid me for taking classes and then promised a job when we got out. Go to your local nursing homes and see what they can do. You dont have to stay with that company (because now you have your certification and can work anywhere like in hospitals, in peoples homes, at nursing homes [the lowest pay, might I add] there is always need for cna’s so getting a job is no problem, but I would stay away from nursing homes, way too many people to deal with and not enough pay. Currently I go to elderly peoples HOMES and help them with there daily lives. Only one person to deal with. Hope this helps. PEACE and LOVE
