I’m a first time AP student this year. What are some good study habits?

Use your notebook wisely.
Do not write in the margins, and only write on one side of the page. After class, when you are home, take out your text book and notes and go over the day’s material for about half an hour. On the pages that you didn’t write on, complete your notes with any additional but useful information. In the margins of your notebook, put your questions to ask your teacher.
And remember, when a teacher lectures, focus on them and not on the board where they are writing notes. I know it sounds weird, but after a few days of doing this you’ll begin to pick up important things in the teacher’s verbal lecture that usually they forget to put in the actual written notes. Also, you’ll better hear the stresses in their voice which will indicate important topics/ideas to study.
Good luck! Hope you do well on your AP exam.
I hope this helps you too!
