How many times can you take the SAT test from September to June?

Here’s the schedule: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/calenfees.html . So, October, November, December, January… you might not want to wait or take it into the spring, since that will probably be too late to send scores for college applications. But if you just want to take it to get higher scores for better scholarships or something, you could also take it in March, May, and June.
Edit: technically and practically, you can take it every time it’s offered, as many times as you want– but some people suppose that it looks bad on applications if you take it a TON of times (since you might do better just as you get more familiar with the test, so your scores might not be an accurate representation of aptitude), and there’s also the possibility that if you really take it once a month your score won’t actually keep getting higher if you don’t make a point of improving yourself– just make sure you’re studying for it in between test dates. Good luck!
