How do SAT II’s work?

When we apply at a UC, we need two subject tests, and when we sign up to take SAT II’s, we choose three subjects to test in. Do two of those count as two we need to take? Or do they mean take the test twice? Because my counselor at school isn’t very helpful, and i really don’t know if i need to register twice? Help please!!

Two of those count. In fact, if you registered for three of them, you’re overachieving. You do not need to register twice.

you can choose your subject tests as you like in 2 or 3 subject areas , as you wish . when applying to UC you should be aware that you must 2 or 3 (as you like) subject tests in diffrent areas , that’s to say you can choose Math II (not math I) , Science( bio or chem or phys), English, or language . DO NOT TAKE 2 or 3 tests in the same subject area (bio , chem, and phys)

You can choose up to 3 different subjects to take at once. Colleges want different subjects. You can take them again if you don’t like your score or if you want to try more subjects. If you choose to send those scores to the college, then yes they will count for that college.
