Yeah, a lot of it depends on your teacher. For my APUSH class, I had a pretty easy time of it. I had it 7th hour, at the very end of the day, and basically dozed through it every day. Oh, we had a lot of work to do in class and out of it. But most of it consisted of making up enough “notes” to satisfy the teacher, and hoping he didn’t look too closely at them, lol. For any teacher, though, you’ll have a lot of note taking, a lot of listening to lectures, outlining chapters… APUSH is a TON of reading—and don’t let yourself get behind in it; that’s the type of reading that will very quickly add up to an impossible task if you let it! There are large chunks in US history that I never did learn because I put it off and put it off, got too far behind, and never did actually read those parts, lol. Mostly, APUSH is boring. I even generally LIKE history, but I couldn’t stand U.S. history—just couldn’t get into it! Then again, I got a 4 on the AP test. Go figure, lol.
Good luck!

AP US History is just a course, different teachers and different classes will naturally give very different experiences.
My class was rather competitive and rigorous so there were no easy A’s. Lot’s of note taking and independent reading is a given. We had to memorize speeches, make movies, and discuss topics so it was rather interesting. I got perfect standardized testing scores on US History with a 5 on the AP exam and an 800 on the SAT II but only maintained a 91 in the class due to its difficulty.

I took AP US History last year in school and It was fun I enjoyed every little bit of learning about all the history facts but the only thing that I didnt like is that I had to do an outline for every chapter in the book and the book had 30 chapters but if you like history you will really love it because I want to take the class again because I enjoyed it so much

yes and i had a terrible teacher, i had to learn everything on my own the week before. I recommend the Research & Education Association’s APUSH with software review book. Read it all and take the 3 tests in the back and youll do fine. i made a 4 and i slept everyday in class.
