Why I should be chosen……..?
I am applying for NHS. In the application, they ask for a 200-300 word essay. Now, they say it should describe why I should be selected for a membership based on scholarship, leadership, service, and character. I have never actually written this kind of paper, and I just dont know where to start.
Could anyone help me out on how to start, and maybe how to state the reasons? (I just think these essays are useless, because they ask you to talk about yourself, which I really dont understand; to me it seems as if we’re showing “ourselves” off)

Good luck! I got accepted into this a coulpe months ago last year.
State that you are responsible, respectful, yuo have done community service to help the enviorment, and you have had a lead role in important issues. these helped me get chosen!!
