With out a doubt Reading!!! take if from some one who couldn’t read well until the fifth grade. Someone who does not read well can’t really get far in life. How do you learn how to do a lot of the things that are going to be known to make a living in the future. Knowing how to read can affect your whole life, your self esteem and how you view yourself. You potential for making money and supporting yourself and a family. You could kill yourself by accident if you don’t know how to read medicine bottles or medication instructions. Reading is the most important thing to learn with out good reading skills life is so much harder.

The most important skill for all students to learn is problem solving.

We are engaged in problems all our lives.

We need to know how to problem solve in every subject and every aspect in life.

There is always a choice. Our students have to learn the skills to become a great problem solver.

Reading is the foundation for most other skills in school–you need it for grammar, history, social studies, science, even math. Even in math, if you can’t read and understand the question, you won’t be able to arrive at the answer. So good reading and comprehension skills are vital.

I agree, it is reading.

But another problem with LD is paying attention when things get too hard to understand. They tend to give up easily, thinking they’ll never get it.

organization.

If you are organized, everything you need to learn will be at your disposal. without organization, school can be complicated and make the student frustrated.
