I am an 18 year old student who hasn’t really worked, but how can I find a part time job?
I’m going on to my second semester of Computer Networking and Technical Support. I just finished my exams and did B’s in English, and pretty well on the rest (B+ — A+).
I have never really gotten a true part time job, only jobs like newpaper boy. This was a long time ago though.
I’m nervous when it comes to trying to find a job, I’m pretty shy.
How can I earn part-time income while studying a program?

I would start by looking at your school. Oftentimes there are a lot of jobs on campus that know that you only have limited experience and/or time. You might start by inquiring for tech services at your college or at the library. Some career services offices at colleges also have a job posting board (hard copy or online) that lists jobs for the college for students. Don’t be too nervous – we all have to start out one way or another 🙂
