Any tips on applying to colleges?
Favorite Answer
2. take the SAT and ACT as many times as you can- remember colleges only look at the best score you have it doesnt matter about the others
3. send applications in EARLY, and fill all requirements they ask for (essay, letters of recomendation, etc.)
4. Don’t only apply to your dream school that has very strict requirements, also remember the logical back up school that although is not your first choice you know you will have a better chance of getting into.
5. don’t stress! I’ll assume your on your senior year since your asking about college- have fun. No matter what you will find a school to get into if you really want to. Even if you dont have the grades to get into an ivy league school start lower, for example a community college- its alot easier to transfer in than to start in a harder school than it is to apply there first. Plus you will save yourself some money. (I made the mistake of going straight to an expensive school).
good luck!
