Words can mean everything/nothing depending on how you say them, “i love you”/”you’ll be okay”/”it’s a boy!”
What is this from? It’s probably not the exact wording….sorry.

exactly that. they can mean everything or nothing depending how you say them.
For example you can say I love you a thousand times but if your words are not accompanied by actions everyday, the words I love you would mean nothing to the other person as you have to demonstrate your love.
Same as friendship. If you go around showing off to everybody saying I am always a good friend to my friends, but when your friends need you, you are never there those words mean nothing.
You can say you will be okay to a person from your heart, or say the same words but inside you think I really dont care.
