Depends on whom you ask. An atheist will tell you that God comes from man.

People who believe in God will have a much tougher time answering that. You’ll probably hear things like, “he is eternal – he as always been here and always will be.”

God always was and will aways be. If you could go back sextrillion years ago, God was even then.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:1-3

If God had a beginning, He would necessarily would have had to be created. And the one who created Him would have had to have a beginning as well and so on and so forth.

It is impossible for finite minds to grasp the concept of no beginning or no end. God is! He always has been and always will be! We will have eternity to study His attributes. There will never be a boring moment! “At His right hand are pleasures for ever more.” Psalm 16:11.

“From everlasting to everlasting, You are God.” Psalm 90:2.

“Through the merits of Christ we may find the approval of God.”

Revelation 1:8 states:

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “the one who is and who was and who is to come, the almighty.”

Alpha is the fist letter of the Greek alphabet. Omega is the last letter.

God is revealing the truth that He (or She) is eternal. He has been here from before the beginning (the alpha) and will be here after the end (the omega).

God is also with us for every step along the way.

With love in Christ.

The fanciful, superstitious and imaginative minds of fearful , bewildered and optimistic humans from the beginning of our time.

There are those who, in all sincerity, ask “How is an uncreated Universe possible?” Others, with equal sincerity, ask “How is an uncreated creator possible?”

The difference of opinion would be of no consequence if the holders of each opinion respected the rights of the others. Alas, “Live and let live” is just a figure of speech. No doubt other answers will demonstrate the truth of this.
