It means to trust in one’s present thoughts and impressions rather than those of other people or of one’s past self.

It means doing things in the same order and style is the limitation of minds that are not adaptive. They continue with the same order out of force of habit and not because its convenient.

Consistency is considered as a quality of efficiency. But it is required to change as situation warrants. It requires good intelligence to evaluate and determine what has to be consistant and what to change. If the mind is “little” which means , inexperienced, unskillful, short-sighted etc., then, insisting on a consistency that will look foolish for a situation is not right. So the good quality ( fairy) will be considered foolish ( Bad )

Someone who does the same thing over and over again just because it’s consistent isn’t too bright. Try doing something different, and thinking different.

I think that’s the meaning anyways, I’m not too good with English 🙁

People with little intelligence do not have the mental flexibility to change their opinion in light of new circumstances.
