No more ramen noodles and mac ‘n cheese! Strictly, shrimp cocktails, lobster and champagne ( or ANYthing they want) for those at the top of the heap.

It’s true. People at the highest positions have good reasons to feel alone because given their power and wealth they can hardly trust others, even those who seem to be their best friends, and even their wife and children since they may be targeted by those who were unable to lure you (“if you can’t get in through the door; try through the window”).
In revenge, they enjoy all the perks of power and wealth: better housing, better cars, prettier girls (what? Is a rich person with a plain mate that common?), better food, etc.

I think it means that the road to the top is a often times a lonely road…Many of times people will try to tear you down, and not support your efforts at personal success. You have to be very strong and driven, and once you reach success (aka “the top”) you will reap the rewards…gain financial success, and live better…therefore “eat better”.
