When we die, it all ends. So it is not possible to know anything after you’re dead because you as a person are over. Your life is over as is your ability to know anything or to feel anything.
However if you believe in the concept of a soul, then you may believe that your soul is a being separate from your physical body and that your soul might escape from your body once you die. So then you will know you’re dead when your soul escapes from your body.

Are you talking about the idea of life after death?
Are you saying that we know when we are going to die?
