The Scarlet Ibis?
I need to write an intro statment to my paper on how Doodle And the Scarlet Ibis are alike, but can’t seem to think of one. Can you give me some Suggestions?

Doodle is like the ibis because they are both fragile and helpless. Also at the end it says that his blood was as red as the scarlet ibis. Hope this helps.

They were both very weak and didn’t really fit in with anyone. It also kind of seems like no one really wanted them because of their disablilities. Doodle’s brother was mean to him becasue he didn’t want to have a brother with a disablility. When Doodle was first born no one expected him to live and then no one even tried to teach him to walk at first. The scarlet ibis ended up in a strange place because of the storms so it could been seen as though where the bird was from didn’t want him anymore and made him weak.
