I was thinking about getting a certification in microsoft but i want to try to study on my own…how hard it?
I am enrolled in an economic program in my school and will be graduating in about one year and want to work for the government. I was wondering how hard it is for me to study for microsoft exam and if it would help me in getting a job with the government . . . what else could i take in computers to get a better job? certification in database management? any ideas would help. . . thanks in advance

I don’t think there’s much you’d benefit for by taking your current courses and trying for a Microsoft Cert. If you plan on working with computers primarily, go for it. Otherwise, it’d be a waste of time and quite a bit of money.
