As part of data presentation, what are proportional circles and arrows??

this is for a geogrpahy project, “Include proportional circles and arrows to show where people have visited lincoln from”

so i assume you draw them on maps, could someone tell me what they are and how to draw them?

I’m pretty sure that just means make sure everything is proportion in the distance it means. So it you are showing ex. 30 miles in one arrow and 30 in another it needs to be the same length. If your showing 30 in one and 60 in another, it needs to be double.

I also found this website (college level) with a similar project to yours so it may help. It says to not just guess the size of your circles but to do it mathematically.
