Mine was 10th grade, which was the first year of high school, way back when…you felt older, able to date, drive, date all three grades (10th-12th) started drinking and smoking (not weed) looked down on these days as I am a Mom of 2 boys but I did experience the big parties with booz, smoked cigarettes that were in a package that was school colors…and somehow survived and there were no one I knew had any bad wrecks, don’t advocate it now tho…

Although I liked Julia’s answer, I think I’ll go for 11th grade. You were an upper-classman but didn’t have the worries of the future and the choices you were going to have to make upon you.

NONE IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE but I liked my 11th grade year better the worst year was 9th everybody looking at you as if you were a kid..

11th and 12th were my favorite with maybe 11th beating 12th by a tiny bit… 🙂

Senior year was my favorite—people became much friendlier, and boundaries of cliques became less relevant. I think everyone appreciated that that was going to be our last year together, and we all wanted to make the best of it. Plus, it’s a great time because you’re looking forward to college and newfound independence.

None i had school phobia and was physically sick every day of my school life, it still makes me shudder when i have to go in for my son.
