Total problem because i said something i didn’t mean. What should I do?
Something i was trying to say came out wrong. I said how my family was against sports scholarships. I have nothing against sports scholarships but my family does and i forgot to say i didn’t have anything against them. It was kind of suppossed to be a paper for school that was taken up and graded by my language arts teacher. The language arts teacher is my favorite teacher and I always loved that class to death. I felt like thats where i belonged and I felt like that teacher really noticed me more than any teacher that I’ve ever had. Like we were friends and it’s hard to explain. But after i wrote the paper i relized he went to school on a sports scholarship and is the new football coach at school.Now that he read my paper it’s like he barely notices me now and i don’t know if thats just me or not. I miss what we used to be the way he would always understand me and now i’m a nobody pretty much at school. That’s what it feels like at least. Any way what should I do?

Have you tried talking to him and telling him that you don’t agree with your family’s position? Or ask him if the class could have a debate on the subject, since you are in a position to speak to either side of the question?
Sometimes, if you’ve put your foot in your mouth, there’s no way to repair the damage. But other times, if you talk about it, ask him questions about his sport scholarship, you can ease over the rough spots.

well he was prob just flirting with you before and its not the end of the world you will get out of that class and have a new teacher and forget all about that one. does it really matter if he is your friend?? you voiced your opinion and if what you said was what you really believe then why would you change it to be a teachers friend that is ignoring you because you have an opinion? he is acting childish. dont worry about it. he will get over it eventually. he is not gonna be mad forever over your paper.
