to all teacher pls. help me..it is really needs to evaluate my academic credentials before i teach here.?
i came from philippines and i graduated as teacher there. i want to continue my teaching here. i went to community college and talked to one of the councilor and she said it needs to evaluate first all my credentials to ACEI. how much that will cost for all of it? it is really $400? and how’s the teaching here? give me some idea or scope how’s the teaching level here. when you are going to teach, is your specialty subject only you can teach or you can also teach some subject that they need, just in case you applied to the school that your specialty subject is not available..

I would suggest while you are waiting to find a placement that you take more English language classes. The question you asked is very difficult to understand because it is not in correct English.

I agree with Berge. Not necessarily meaning to be rude, but I have had teachers who had difficulty with English and it made the classes almost impossible — GTA’s in college were the WORST.
This IS an English speaking country and it IS only fair that you be able to communicate well in English in order to teach here. Perhaps your question here is not indicative of your ability — if not, then great. But if so, please make sure your language level is good enough for you to be understood by your students.
