Parent-Teacher Conferences?

I’m a freshman in high school, and I’ve been home schooled my entire life. There’s a parent-teacher conference coming up and my parents plan to go to it, but what exactly is the point of it? What do they talk about?

Generally, the parents and teachers talk about progress in school, how you are doing academically and likely how you are doing socially. Nothing to worry about as most teachers try to present everything in a positive light.

Here is a link to an article my local paper recently did on them, geared for the parents, but it may help you too.

they basically talk about how well you perform in class and how nice of a kid you are. then they say what you might want to improve on in the future- but unless you are completely erratic and wild, it will mostly be something like this: ” oh johnny is such a great kid , he’s got so much potential” blah blah blah. don’t sweat it it’ll be just fine.
