my name is Tim but this guy wants to call me Joseph. Why?
I saw similar case in the early 90’s movie “last boy scout”. Why do some people want to call someone by some random name even after we tell him our real name?

anyway, the next time this guy calls you Joseph, call him Richard. If he does it again, use the colloquialism of Richard.
