My 7th grade friend needs ideas for a science fair project.?

She really wants to win. She is a loser and has never won anything. Now she wants some not too simple. But too fancy either. Something unique. Stuff you can buy at local grocery or hard ware store. She really needs your help.

PLEASE. HELP HER>

Don’t call your friend a loser. There has to be something she is good with. However, you are being a good friend by taking your time to ask this question. I’m sure she will appreciate it.

Here are two ideas:

Plants and Music- You can buy four plants of the same kind at the store. Water and feed them all the same. Grow one without music, grow one with heavy metal music, grow one with classical music, and grow one with pop music. See which one grows the fastest over a two week period. Then say that ___ music makes plants grow faster than without music at all. Tell how this can be used for agriculture.

Cats and Sounds of Birds- (only if you know someone who has a cat) get some recordings of different birds and put a moving stuffed bird in front of it. See if your cat will change behavior when it hears an eagle call compared to a sparrow call.

I wish your friend the best luck! ^^

If u can get a hold of an air compressor she can shrink things. Like a pop can or a potato chip bag. It’s really cool! It makes the shrunken items look exactly the same just tiny- like a toy.
