Major Lunch Problem!!! At school.?

Today was the first day of school. there are 3 lunches at school depending on which class the 5th period is. At first the teacher told us to go to A lunch then when we went back he says that we actually had B lunch so today I had two lunches. Anyway, I was fine with A lunch because all my friends are in that lunch, now that he says we have B lunch I really dont know what to do!!! Who the heck am I going to sit with? I cant bear sitting alone, its so sad, I felt like i wanted to cry! its so horrible, i dont know anyone, and i dont think im going to be able to make any new friends because everyone has already established a group. Im so devastated because my day was going so great until i found out my lunch period is so horrible. Please tell what i should do. Should i tell the counselor i want to switch into a different lunch? i know she wont let me unless i really had a promblem with my class schedule. I dont know what to do!! I cant sit alone again, and i dont want to tag along with ppl

talk w/ your counselor or teacher to get a lunch… if you can’t that’s it & maybe you’ll meet someone nice anyway, who knows….?

you wanted to know what you should do….the above is my opinion since i survived thousands of school lunches… however, if you do find yrself sitting alone (i hope not but that happens sometimes) try to distract yourself by looking at the cute guys….eventually, you will find yrself part of a group, hopefully one you want to join….especially if you sort of ease over to where they are sitting & pretend you don’t really notice them but make witty comments from time to time…

I don’t know what to tell you. I really doubt you can get switched out, because I’m sure the counselor probably has better things to worry about.

I do understand that not really knowing anyone at lunch can be really uncomfortable, but I think maybe you’re being a little too dramatic. Find anyone you know at all, or just someone who looks friendly, sit with them, make some new friends. I’ve had “lunch buddies” that I didn’t really hang out with anywhere but lunch… it looks like that’s what you’re gonna have to do.

if your official schedule says you have the 1st lunch, im pretty sure you can keep it that way. or sign up for a elective or club or something that takes place durring the second lunch. since you have both lunch periods free thats wat i would do if none of my friends were in my lunch period. today was my first day of school too it totally sucks only like, 1 of my friends have my lunch and 2 other ppl i kinda hang out with 🙁 but at least you have friends in ur other classes- i have like, 3 classes that i dont know anyone in and i dont c one of my friends the whole day!! 🙁

what i suggest is telll a teacher that you are not comfortable with the the place you are now do not be whiney or negative be a mature adult and think positive if this does not work try sitting around people that are nice and easy to get along with just sit there and they will notice you are by yourself and soon will talk you dont need to worry it will all work out if you just act nice the good kids will notice and if they are good ppl they will talk to you and soon you will have new b lunch friends

wow this brings back memories one time in high school the same thing happened to me, and i only knew one girl at lunch and wouldent you know she quit going to that school and that left me alone, i know how you feel theres no worse feeling, maby you could have your classes switched around so youll be in the other lunch, it would be worth it instead of dreading lunch everyday, if you cant then just sit around people and eventually either you or they will strike up a conversation, i hope everything goes good for you and it works out ok……

2nd lunch is actually the best time. well u should sit somewhere where there’s not that much people so then u can interact with those people and then become friends. im positive u can become a friend in the lunch room.

dont sweat the small stuff. you will make friends in your 5th period class so you can sit with them. and this will give you a chance to make new friends. dont settle for a click, try to be friends with everyone
