If you drop a class in high school to switch into another class, does it show on your transcript?

we have not done alot yet. We have not finished a quarter yet. we are about 1/2 way through the first quarter. If i drop now, will it be shown on my transcript? i might switch from honors chemistry to college prep chemistry because i am not doing that great in that class.

Talk to your counselors. It’s different at all schools. I know that at my school, classes dropped after the first 10 days show up on your transcripts as an F, so we can’t drop classes after that. But it could be different at your school. Or if your school does classes by quarter, you could switch after the first quarter or semester. Ask your counselors though, it’s the only way you’ll know for sure.
