But since you seem to have already made up your mind, just tell them what you told us. No whining, no shouting, just calmly tell them that it’s important to you, and how you appreciate their efforts to feed you healthy food. And if they don’t accept the fear-of-being-loser reason, then just tell them that you have a lot of books to carry around at school, and it’s more convenient to buy your lunch there, rather than dragging it around all day.
PS–Your parents are probably tired of making the lunch anyway.
Just be yourself— if someone is going to judge you because you bring your lunch then you shouldn’t even consider them as a friend.
If you want to hide it, then put your lunch in a large zip-lock bag and put it in the small pocket of your back pack. The sandwiches may be scrunched up but at least your pride wont be.
